Thanks for finding our little corner of the internet!

Wilford Village Allotments are situated in the heart of Wilford Village off Holly Avenue (see map below). We are a small allotment site with approximately 40 plots of varying sizes from 50sq metres (smallest) to 420 sq metres (largest), the average being approximately 200 sq metres.

The Allotment land is leased from Nottingham City Council (NCC) and the site is managed by our  association of plot holders. The association registered as a Community Interest Company (CIC) with Companies House in February 2016.  The Wilford Village Allotment Association (CIC) has 4 directors and a committee structure that is elected yearly at the Annual General Meeting.  All members of The Committee give their time and effort on a voluntary basis.

Our aim is to encourage people to take up allotment gardening and to support our plot holders to maintain and enjoy the experience of growing their own fruit and vegetables. To do this, we are as flexible as possible in the sizing of plots and encourage sharing where this might be the best way to get started.

Plots are rented out on an annual basis with a charge in pence per sq metre per annum (see Plots Information). Rent is collected annually in September and the proceeds are used to pay the NCC for our lease of the land and to maintain the allotment site.

We are also members of  The National Allotment Society
